What is Recruitment?
Recruitment is a week where women of all years can attend various events to meet sisters and learn about what it means to be a part of aKDPhi. All events are FREE and there is no obligation to join. We encourage women to attend as many rush events as possible because it helps us get to know you better and it's fun!

From craft nights and dinners to career chats with our guest alumnae, our recruitment events are all about having fun while getting to know who we are as an organization. Whether you're snapping a LinkedIn headshot or just curious about our information sessions, we're always excited to build new connections and what share what sisterhood means to us.

Balance & Bliss
One of our favorites this year was Balance and Bliss, a yoga session to relax, recharge, and bond with new and familiar faces.
LinkedIn Headshots
A photography session where attendees received professional headshots in a fun, friendly atmosphere.
Hazing Free Environment
Both alpha Kappa Delta Phi and Virginia Polytechnic Institute have a strict no hazing policy. ​We would never intentionally harm or force a new member to do something they do not want to do because that is not how we believe our future sisters should be treated.
A bid comes with the understanding that we value you as a future sister of our sorority.
